Some days are destined to be bad. October 23, 2005 was definitely one of those days. The Bengals lose and my roommate reverts back to "goatish" living. I hate to continually rant about him but it's hard when that's when you come home to every night. I am in the process of solving this problem though.
What really hurt was how the Bengals lost. After winning the first quarter hands down they proceeded to lose the next three. The mystery that is the Bengals continues to dumbfound many fans and objective viewers alike. I guess it's no secret, they win when they're supposed to but they never seem to pull out the upset that would really spark them to the next level. I am however a huge believer in Marvin Lewis and as far as I'm concerned whatever Marvin says is gold. He has taken a losing franchise and made them respectable in less than 3 years.
Not to get to philosophical about all of this but having an optimistic outlook on life allows the future to play itself out in the way it intends to. No matter what happens with my roommate or the Bengals, tomorrow will be better than today, no matter what!
